All eyes are on the Governors of NJ, NY, PA and DE – the voting members of the Delaware River Basin Commission – as they decide whether to approve the proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal in Gibbstown, NJ on the Delaware River. This project would facilitate a massive increase in fracking, and with it more destruction of our health, water and climate. It would also result in the transport of highly explosive LNG by truck and train through our NJ communities. The safety and environmental health of Millions hangs in the balance, as this massive proposal is scheduled for a potential vote at the DRBC meeting on December 9.
